It was established in 2008, and is active in the cities of Prayagraj and Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh - India.
Umeed Social and Economic Development is an NGO that works towards the betterment of children, youths, and women. They aim to serve the community by empowering them with facilities related to education, healthcare, and rural development initiatives.
Current projects are:
Youth Welfare center Varanasi and Prayagraj
The centers provide necessary education and training to youth. This helps to get professional skills and prepare them for employment. Umeeds addiction programs at the centers support youth to be protected from addictions.
Activities are food distribution, educational programs, children's shelter
